Pool surround and pathway in Twyford
In 2013 we were contracted by Neptune Swimming Pools of Hampshire to lay a surround for a swimming pool they had recently installed at a newly built Coach House in Twyford.
In 2015, with landscaping now complete, we were contracted directly by our customer to lay a garden footpath.
For both installations the most important requirements were for a pretty, practical, environmentally friendly surface that complemented the adjoining garden design, the new home and brick built pool house.
SureSet was chosen for its permeability - allowing water to drain through minimising puddles and the potential to slip and for its smooth, stone free finish - eliminating the potential of stones migrating in the pool and lawned area.
In 2013, on a cured and primed concrete base we hand laid 3mm Barley Beach carefully accommodating the maintenance drains and filters around the pool.
In 2015, on a cured and primed concrete base we installed a 3mm Barley Beach pathway leading from the pool and around the solar panels.
The result is a stunning looking swimming pool surround that sits in perfect harmony with the nearby buff coloured bricks of the pool house.
But it’s not just pretty…
Choosing SureSet ensures these surfaces are seamlessly smooth, puddle free and extremely comfortable underfoot. With virtually no maintenance and a 15 year guarantee, the owner of this fabulous new Coach House was totally impressed with the natural look of their new swimming pool surround and footpath.
“I was very impressed it was a pleasure to deal with the whole team, I have already recommended SureSet to a colleague.”
