Butlins Bognor Regis

Background
Butlins in Bognor Regis were looking to totally revamp their funfair area and with it create fun, flawless and durable paving areas throughout. Sureset’s Business Development Manager Hugh Haines, initially had a chance meeting with the client at the Home Building and Renovation Show. This then led to a meeting with SureSet where Butlins plans were discussed with the Designers and Ground workers, and a plan to implement SureSet’s Spectrum range was created.

 
Solution
Butlins were looking to have bright, colourful and highly durable paving areas to draw attention to each different ride within the park. Large circular attractions such as the Helter Skelter and swings were to feature large outlining rings of SureSet coloured glass. Ice cream parlours, seating areas and performance spaces were also to have a colourful base adding interest and attracting attention to those areas. Three colours of SureSet’s resin-bound coloured glass were chosen from the Spectrum range. These were; Yellow Green, Water Blue and Mint Green.

 
Result
The result has helped to transform this area from its previous tired state to a fresh, modern and vibrant family oasis. The bright surfaces compliment the new attractions and frame the areas as well as offering a durable and eco-friendly paving solution.

Butlins were said to be incredibly happy with the finished project and are looking forward to seeing their new visitors enjoy the areas.
