Driveway, Chard
The market town of Chard is the highest in Somerset and nestles nicely between Dorset and Devon.
When Tim and Donna moved into their new home in Chard, in 2009, they began a complete renovation of the interior of their new house.
In the front garden, two overgrown fir trees were blocking daylight and an old concrete pathway leading to uneven steps, took you down to street level.
Plans to refurbish the external area at the front of the property, that included levelling the garden and installing a dropped kerb, were submitted to the council for planning permission.
Two applications and one appeal later, permission was finally granted.

Donna and Tim wanted a driveway surface that was environmentally friendly, low maintenance and available in colours to complement their home and landscape design.
A friend was having SureSet installed, and impressed with the product and the samples they saw, Tim and Donna called us to request their own samples.
“We chose SureSet over other surfaces such as asphalt and concrete because we wanted something ‘different’. We are so pleased with the colour and final finish of the installation.”

Just two months after requesting samples, their driveway installation took place and here is what Tim and Donna had to say:
“All I can say is that we are very impressed. SureSet staff were professional and really helpful.
The installation guys worked so hard to complete the job within one day.
SureSet has completely altered our driveway/garden. So many people were stopping and asking us about it, that we now have a little sign up saying that it was installed by SureSet.”
