The Court, Wotton under Edge
The Court is a Grade II* listed house that dates back to the early 18th century. It sits in the heart of Wotton under Edge, a village in Gloucestershire close to the southern Cotswold edge.
The house has an impressive carriage driveway that sweeps up to a grand four pillared entrance.
For 30 years, the Grade II listed building had been a care home in the town, until it closed in July 2010 and granted planning permission to convert into eight apartments.
But what to do with that amazing driveway?
Is there a way to keep the look of an 18th century gravel driveway, befitting of such a magnificent house, but with 21st century benefits?
Of course there is!
SureSet resin bound paving delivers the look of a quintessentially English gravel driveway without the hassle of loose stone - guaranteed.
We were contracted by Taylor Plant Ltd. in September 2016 to install 467m² of SureSet resin bound gravel in Barley Beach Natural Aggregate.
The result is the look of a beautiful sweeping gravel driveway that is a perfect partner for the stunning looking Grade II* listed property.
And residents will benefit from…
No puddles to dodge puddles when leaving or returning to their homes. No one will be wasting their time digging the loose gravel out of the lawn. Wheelie bins will be wheeled out instead of being dragged through gravel. Read more about our resin bound gravel driveways.
